In this webinar, we explored how professional services firms responded to the marketing and business development challenges and opportunities of the year.

The findings of the 13th annual Strategy & Marketing Benchmark provided valuable insights, allowing participants to compare their plans with those of their peers from the UK and the 30+ other countries represented by PM Forum members.

The 2025 Benchmark addressed key themes, including:

Perspectives on the economic outlook for professional services around the world.

Growth prospects for firms and the implications for their marketing budgets.
Key activities planned to achieve firms’ priorities.
How firms used client listening to understand their clients’ needs and adapt their services accordingly.

The preferred management style of marketing leaders and where their teams focused their efforts.

This year’s Benchmark brought even greater international representation. Responses came from Forum members worldwide, as well as from marketers in new groups based in Canada, India, Spain, and the Middle East. In addition, senior members of ICON APAC – a membership body of some 3,000 professional services marketers across Asia-Pacific – contributed their perspectives, enabling richer comparisons across regions.

In this webinar, Alastair Beddow, Managing Director of Meridian West, presented the findings. A panel of marketing leaders from diverse professional services sectors then shared their insights, offering practical perspectives on the Benchmark’s findings.
