Law firm Spencer West thinks referrals are so important it based its business model on them.

Emma Sosner, Director of Business Development and Marketing at international law firm Spencer West, thinks her firm’s approach revolutionises referrals, both internal and external.

The firm combines the essence and independence of barristers’ chambers with the community and collaborative nature of a full-service law firm, with lawyers working essentially as profit-sharing contractors. But with 350 partners and more than 100 other fee earners, it’s much bigger than any chambers.
