CBRE has long championed the apprenticeship route into the real estate industry, and that now extends to its marketing and communications team. Millie Grice shares her journey with Matt Baldwin.

The typical route into professional services marketing involved A-levels, a degree and then landing a job. That first role, however, would rarely be in professional services. After all, very few marketers leave school determined to become a marketing specialist for a law, accounting or real estate consulting firm.

But not so Millie Grice, a Marketing and Communications Executive Apprentice at the real estate giants CBRE.

She knew from the start of her A-levels that she wanted to work in the property world – and that university wasn’t for her.
