Lawyers are creative. It is part of the job, to interpret the law and apply it in ways that best protect or enhance clients’ positions. There are, of course, boundaries to that creativity, but the law is far from black or white.

That creativity extends to the way individual lawyers approach marketing and business development, embracing events and speaking platforms, workshops, articles and press commentary, and authoring books.
