To mark International Women’s Day, PM Forum Wales hosted a powerful webinar featuring a panel of expert voices who explored the realities of women’s health in the workplace and what they mean for employers.

The session brought together national charity Wellbeing of Women, who shared shocking statistics on women’s health and unpacked their implications for organisations; Wonder Consultancy Group, who explained how they support organisations to deliver meaningful, systems-level change; and leading law firms TLT and Hugh James, who discussed how they have championed women’s health and implemented practical changes within their own organisations.

The panel challenged the long-held assumption that women’s health is a personal issue, making a compelling business case for treating it as a core leadership responsibility.

In this session, the discussion confronted:

– Why policies alone have been failing women in professional services, and where culture and management capability have made the real difference
– How creative design and systems-change tools have been used to create measurable impact
– What “good” has looked like beyond wellbeing statements and awareness days
– Practical actions leaders, partners and HR teams have been able to implement quickly

Rather than treating International Women’s Day as a moment for symbolic gestures, the session focused on driving substantive organisational action and long-term change.
