On 1 July, the East of England Committee hosted a forward-looking event at the Cambridge offices of Mills & Reeve, exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming professional services.
Ben Lee, Head of Data and AI at Bidwells, returned as keynote speaker, having previously supported the committee’s launch event in March 2024. Ben highlighted how pricing conversations in professional services are evolving, with clients increasingly paying for outcomes and value delivered, rather than simply billable hours. He showcased AI assistants integrated with Bidwells’ knowledge assets, which have significantly streamlined workflows, enabling earlier, better-informed decisions and more time spent with clients.
