Taking the leap from a big to a smaller firm, where marketing and BD starts and stops with you, is no easy move. But it helps when that firm is ranked as one of Ireland’s Best Places to Work by The Sunday Times, as Stephen Bolger explains to Matt Baldwin.
Based in Dublin and with an office in Galway, the eight partner, 50-strong Lavelle Partners LLP made the inaugural The Sunday Times Ireland Best Places to Work 2024.
The firm nurtures a collegial environment where everyone’s opinion matters and is valued. Its book club, walking challenges, staff bake-offs, pizza nights and cultural outings for staff builds, The Sunday Times Ireland Best Places to Work says, a “strong esprit de corps”.
It made, says Stephen Bolger, the firm’s Marketing & BD Manager, the move from a large firm with a big marketing and BD team to a firm where the marketing and BD buck starts and stops with him “an easy decision to make”.
