In 2009, a number of our law firm members brought the new Chamber UK guidelines to the Forum’s attention. To understand the market reaction, the Forum put together a survey in early November 2009 to assess the impact of the changes. Over 260 members responded, including 17 managing partners, with 74% of respondents responsible for completing directory submissions. It was clear that our members are highly critical of the new deadlines.

We subsequently sent an open letter to Chambers summarising the findings.
