The legal sector has never been what I would call an enthusiastic early adopter of technology. I’ve worked in it for 20 years so I’m confident to state that.

Unlike many industries, law firms rarely embrace innovation because it is new, but when it is proven. The profession’s natural scepticism is understandable; law firms are built on risk management, precedent and evidence. As a tech- and data-driven marketer I have throughout my career had to challenge assumptions, prove claims and demonstrable value before partners have committed to investment, large or small.
