The professional services sector is rarely first to adopt new technologies – nor is it usually the last. But when it comes to artificial intelligence, communications teams find themselves in a particularly delicate position: they must adopt AI quickly enough to stay competitive, while moving cautiously enough to protect confidentiality, tone accuracy and the human judgement at the core of their work. The result is communications teams that are curious, increasingly exploratory, but still negotiating what responsible, effective AI adoption really looks like.
