The Conference of the Parties (COP) in its 28th edition, COP28, took place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) over 14 days in November 2023. Whilst the conference brings governments from around the world together to discuss climate issues aligned with the primary goal of the Paris Agreement, aiming to restrict global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, it is open to the general public on most conference days offering an opportunity to people like us to experience what COP is all about.
