PM Forum has launched its latest regional committee in Wales.

Professional services marketers and practitioners from legal and accountancy firms across Wales and the South West of England joined the committee at its first in-person event in Cardiff in May. Attendees heard from communications experts from integrated marketing agency Freshwater on the art of Reputation management: How to get your message across and protect your brand.

Executive director, John Underwood, and senior consultant, Antony Jones, spoke about the importance of brand reputation and shared their insights, experiences, and tips for communicating clearly and staying on-brand when in front of the media.

PM Forum founder, Richard Chaplin, was also at the event to celebrate the launch of PM Forum Wales, where he addressed the audience about the history of the PM Forum and the benefits of the community.

The Wales committee is chaired by Stefanie Jones of Hugh James, who is supported by co-directors Ewan Moore and Carolyn Pugsley of Freshwater, and committee members Rae McCarthey of Menzies, Sarah Keegan-Stewart of TLT and Emma Poole of Hugh James.

Stefanie Jones, chair of PM Forum Wales commented: “The successful launch of PM Forum Wales marks a significant milestone for PM Forum as it continues to expand its reach across the UK. The Wales committee enables marketers in professional services firms in Wales to join a local network, make new connections and learn from experienced guest speakers.

“The inaugural event saw a great turnout and received excellent feedback. The committee is looking forward to organising further events and webinars over the course of the year and fostering relationships with our new Welsh contacts”.

PM Forum Wales’ next in-person event will be a lunchtime session on Wednesday 16 October. Please save the date and keep an eye out for further details. Click on the button below for more information about the committee and upcoming events.
