In many law firms, client relationships are still seen as something that develops over time, led by partners, supported by senior lawyers, and gradually picked up by others as they progress.
Everyone is encouraged to ‘get involved’, but in reality finding the time and opportunity to do so alongside day-to-day work can be a challenge.

The result is that meaningful relationship-building is often delayed. But increasingly, that model feels out of step with what clients, and firms, actually need.
