Sitting on the other side of the fence
We’re all familiar with working within professional services firms but what’s it like to be a client of, or a supplier to your firm? This event features speakers who have sat on both sides of the relationship who will share their perspective on what it’s like to be a client of a firm following a career in private practice, and how it feels to become the head of marketing for a firm and engage the digital agency in which you held a senior role.
The session will look at:
- How can marketing teams can get the best from their external agencies
- How in-house marketing and BD teams can adopt an agency mentality when dealing with internal stakeholders
- Bringing digital tools and techniques from other sectors into a PS environment
- What clients are looking for from their professional advisers in terms of service and experience and how to stand apart in a crowded market
- What skills could/should we be equipping fee earners with to build stronger client relationships
We will be joined by Becky Brennan, Head of Marketing, Simpkins Edwards; Poppy Coupe, Finance Director, Smallridge Bros Ltd; and George Pawley, Head of Legal, Oxygen Conservation for this event.
